Professional Development

Amid all the recent disruption faced by education systems worldwide, teachers have remained central to successful learning. They will continue to have a critical role in mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on learners. Clifton Campus faculty are committed to continuous professional development to ensure the best learning experiences for our students. Ensuring the social distancing and safety measures, we recently had a training session to reinforce “inclusion and how to cater to the learning diversity”, conducted by the PYP Manager.

At Clifton Campus, professional development provides our teaching faculty with a
detailed understanding of the framework of the Primary Years Programme. The different
categories of the International Baccalaureate program alongside in-house training give
insight to the successful implementation of teaching and learning within the Primary
Years Programme. The various sessions focus on international-mindedness, the IB
standards and practices, transdisciplinary curriculum and constructivist approach to
teaching and learning.
IB certified trainings are offered online and face to face by the International
Baccalaureate Organization. More need specific workshops take place in-house and our
conducted by the IB Primary Years Programme Coordinator and Pedagogical
Leadership Team.
